HOSA is an international student-led organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE. HOSA's mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience.

As an organization we want to be more active within the school and the community. This means that our members have to be active within the club, therefore we are implementing a points system. Every member will need to collect a certain number of points to be considered for HOSA convention in the Spring.

Members will have opportunities to gain points by attending meetings, monthly activities, and community events. Most importantly HOSA is an educational club. We want to teach and learn as much as we can about the medical field.

The cost to become a member of HOSA is $35 per student because HOSA is a national club. When you become a HOSA member at BHS you become a national member which you can maintain membership throughout your adult years.
