Berwick FFA Graduation Cord/Sash Reward Program

The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. Students that take advantage of all that FFA has to offer will earn rewards for their dedication and hard work. The FFA graduation cords are blue/gold with an FFA charm and are only worn by dedicated Berwick FFA members. The FFA graduation sash is blue with the FFA emblem embroidered and is worn by chapter leaders. To be awarded the Graduation Cord or Sash, students must apply and be approved. Only members with outstanding character and adherence to the FFA Code of Ethics will be considered. Further requirements are listed below. 

All activities have a point value, depending on the level of participation.

Requirements for graduation cord consideration:

1. Minimum of 2 years of FFA membership.
2. Accumulate a minimum of 200 points from participation in various FFA activities.
3. Must be an FFA member senior year.
4. Cumulative GPA for Agriscience Courses of 2.5.
5. Written application submitted to the FFA Advisor to be reviewed.

Requirements for graduation sash consideration:

1. Have a minimum of 2 years of FFA membership 
2. Accumulate a minimum of 300 points from participation in various FFA activities.
3. Must be an FFA member senior year.
4. Cumulative GPA for Agriscience Courses of 2.5.
5. Written application submitted to the FFA Advisor to be reviewed.
