Assistant Superintendent of Operations Appointed: Kristina Estay

St. Mary Parish Public Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Kristina Estay as the new Assistant Superintendent of Operations. This vacancy was created by the appointment of the outgoing assistant superintendent, Dr. Rachael Sanders, who was recently named Superintendent.

Ms. Estay currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources where she served for four years.

Human Resources Director Appointed: Kiante Gunner

St. Mary Parish Public Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Mrs. Kiante Gunner as the new Director of Human Resources. This vacancy was created by the appointment of the outgoing director, Ms. Kristina Estay, who was recently appointed as assistant superintendent.

Mrs. Gunner currently holds the position of Principal of Bayou Vista Elementary where she served for seven years.

Berwick High School has earned the prestigious Top Gains designation for showing exceptional growth on state assessments. To receive this honor, schools must demonstrate growth that surpasses the state's pre-determined growth goals.

It is the mission of Berwick High School to educate ALL students to their highest academic abilities in a safe and character-building environment. 

SCHOOL MOTTO 

Creating a learning community dedicated to developing respectful and responsible citizens and empowering all learners.  

Our enrollment is 437 students.

Our School Colors are Black and Gold.

Berwick High School's first yearbook was 1956-1957. We have been in three Buildings since the beginning: current Berwick Elementary School, current Berwick Junior High School, and our current school building was built in 1975.
